Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
A combination of work and university studies across the week. Some weeks there will be a set university day with a lecturer and other weeks you will have up to 6 hours to take as 'self study'. When not focusing on uni you are in one of you rotations focusing on your personal development in that role within the supply chain and learning how that function works in the company. You willl also look at how you can link your studies to you work. Across the 4 rotations you will have a minimum of 6 rotations lasting 6 months and a final 12 month rotation to finish off the scheme.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy this programme very much. The ability to rotate around the supply chain to find out what would i like to do is perfect so i don't think i am stuck doing something if i do not like it. I get new experiences and under new managers to learn new styles of management

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed many new skills and learnt many through both university studies and rotation work. I have learnt how to network with new people from different backgrounds and i have become more and more confident in doing so. I am also a lot more confident in presenting to large groups of people and and i am also better at analysing data. Communication and leadership skills are all getting better

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Programme is very well organised and is structured clearly to you from the start and throughout. clear layout of management and a great level of support for you no matter which year of the scheme you are in. Enough flexibility and structure to allow you to tailor you experience on the scheme to benefit your needs and wants
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Plenty of support provided by employers with dedicated people looking after all aspects of the scheme from the apprenticeship, rotation and university. Personal development ties in with all sections and the managers communicate together with yourself in order to make sure you are getting the right amount of support you require in order to do your best and get the most out of your time
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Great support from training provider in turns of the lecturers who come on site to help support us with the assignments and modules. could be offered more by the university itself with content and software to research on and more support on top of our lecturer. Overall enough support in order to develop myself and learn
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
There is a definite link between my studies and my rotations. I am very much able to apply my learnings to my projects and my day to day tasks. I am able to provide feedback to my rotation manager based around what i have studied for my modules. The studies allows me to understand better what i can do to develop myself.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are dedicated teams called enrichment teams which are owned and run by apprentices on the scheme. One is for social events who organise events such as bowling. Professional events such as talks from senior members. Residential group who organise the annual residential trip for all apprentices. Also there are many mid week sporting teams like football and basketball which run every week
