Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
It is my role to support my hotel manager with the daily running of my hotel at Gillingham. I run a team of 22 team members and together we aim to give our guests a great experiance at our hotel with great check in's and clean and comfertable rooms at a great price.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I love working through the exersizes on the course, but i just wish that i had more time. Always feels rushed when always at work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
My apprenticeship has helped me with my leadership styles and I am working on improving my reception and computer skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well organised, it flows well from one topic to the next.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
1/5
There is not really any, you are just expected to get on with it and still work. We are all so busy. Personally I would just rather have a day at home each week to do my apprenticeship as then it is undisturbed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The trainers try so hard to encourage you to get on with the work, they help you and always show a light at the end of the tunnel when you feel so far behind.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
When I have completed my apprenticeship, I know it will help me feel more confident. I just wish that I had more quality time rather than being behind due to workload. They do tell us at the start not to fall behind so totally my fault for that.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
No basically.
