Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working on project related to the financing at Visa and present it to key stakeholders at the end of the internship. Also took on ad hoc tasks like auditing the budget and providing slide decks for meetings.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was treated as an equal in the team I sat in, therefore I believe I was given quite a bit of responsibility during the internship.

I had a buddy from my team and also had a great working relationship with my manager. I was offered as much guidance as I needed.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I felt very welcome at the company and I think that the culture was quite friendly. I never once felt belittled or incompetent, but as capable as everyone else on the team with much more experience than me.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed working with others and being fulfilled in my work. I definitely believe that my work had a purpose and was useful for the team. I enjoy working on projects that have impact and definitely think I achieved that in my time there.
