Business Change Apprentice Review

I started my full-time apprenticeship in May 2021 which was an 18-month apprenticeship as a Business Change colleague. This role involves working with several pieces of media software to create animations, adverts, communications, supporting the team with tasks and demonstrations to send out to the business. This means I must be creative and innovative in my thinking. I am also responsible for managing my own time and working to different deadlines depending on what I’m creating. This means I am always organised and have good time management skills. I am currently building a lot of knowledge throughout this apprenticeship from the products I am being trained on. I am meeting a lot of different people and building a wide range of experience.

It was really well organised, from going into the apprenticeship and meeting Alan from Cambridge Marketing College. I knew every week what i needed to do for my apprenticeship and if there was anything I did not know what/how to do then I would just email my tutor and he would explain. The EPA was also really well explained and I knew what the EPA was all about when going into it, that was definitely through the support I had.

I received a lot of support from my employer, my manager was there for me every step of the way. She gave me the allocated time I needed for my apprenticeship but always said if I needed more time, I could take it.

I received a lot of support from my training provider. He put monthly catch up calls in with us to chat through the upcoming tasks for the month, he also put in group calls with all of the apprentices and himself to discuss a topic around marketing. He was also very quick at replying to emails when I needed help.

I love the company, I have been here for nearly 4 years now and I have loved everything about it. I enjoy meeting new people, I love my team and the people I work with and I would not change any of that. I really love this company and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
