Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day-to-day, I support new infrastructure being onboarded into our cloud environment, whilst supporting the BAU teams to keep the current environment clean.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have greatly enjoyed my programme, I have learnt lots and been in a great environment surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed lots of new skills, primarily focused on the cloud. RWE have supported me in both training and paid for certifications related to the field.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme was very well structured, broken down into individual modules which managed to cover multiple learning paths I had to complete for my apprenticeship. I was also able to inform my tutor of the upcoming workload so we could tailor what I was learning in line with my work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support from my employer has been great. Always going above and beyond in helping me, and making sure that work towards the apprenticeship came first.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
QA were always there to lend a helping hand if and when it was needed. My DLE/Tutor was very responsive when it came to emails, phone calls, or online chat. He was always happy to help and even go further into detail on topics outside of the training.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I use the qualification I learnt everyday in my role with the company now. It has set me up with the perfect foundations to build and progress in my career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Personally, I have not been too active in extra-curricular actives, but they are offered. I do attend a monthly get together with ex and current apprentices, however.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RWE Supply & Trading?
Make sure to do your research on the company. There are 7 companies under the RWE banner and it can be confusing.
