Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
My role involves tending to guests needs whatever they may be, and mainly making sure that the shift goes smoothly and that FoH know what they're doing and guiding them through the day also being there if anything is up or they need to talk to someone about anything that concerns them
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The programme that i am currently on is really intriguing in terms of my coaches encouraging me through the tasks and knowing that they're there for me is huge also in terms of the tasks itself some can be really enjoyable but next to all of them are really informative

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
People skills for me is the main thing that has been developed throughout my time at Premier Inn getting to know regular guests instead of shying away from conversations, also managing a shift and having that control over thing is definately a skill that has been improved from my role

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My apprenticeship is very well organised if i am ahead of tasks then it will get noticed and i will be praised for it, all the tasks are in coordinace with my job role that all ties in with expericences in the workplace and passing information on and applying it
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
Things have been a bit hit and miss recently there's a lot of stress within the upper management so somethings may not be attended to but mostly things to get sorted out and i do recieve some support however with my job role it is hard as it is more independent
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I recieve a lot of support from my training provider/s they always make sure that i have the correct tools to do the job and always make sure that i am prepared for exams etc and i know that if i need them they're only a message away
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It benefits me a lot because most of my learning from the apprenticeship applies to real life scenarios weather it be health and safety or the licensing act it increases my knowledge around these subjects making me more efficient and knowledgable about my job and i can show that to guests making me very professional
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There aren't any extra curricular activities
