Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My job role entails me leading a small team. I work with meeting and greeting guests on check in and check out. Supplying a smooth running of service over breakfast and dinner. Pre briefing the team at the start of shift ensuring my team knows what is happening on shift and what they are required to do.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I feel that the sessions are a bit hard to get support. Its mixed levels which can be especially hard for learners to spend more time getting information or knowledge on what they need help with. As much as my trainer try to deal with everyone. I personally feel there is too much for them to deal with solely by themselves. Other than the fact there could be more than one trainer nd maybe sticking people doing the same level on the same days rather than mixed I feel these can be quite successful and very positive. The website can bit abit difficult to use. However I feel I'm not the best with technology so could just be me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes i have learnt more about the sales and marketing aspect, as well as more about the finance side of things like profit margins and gross profits

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I feel its been planned well and has a good structure of time and things to do. However having just one provider between lots of different levels can lead to people not getting enough time to learn or understand. Maybe having level 2, level 3 and level 4 working different days as having mixed must be hard for trainers to keep logging in and out to help. Also with constant new starters higher levels tend to be put in their learning taking them away from their own course work
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I get a lot of support from my employers. They are always pushing me outside my comfort zone pushing me to be my better self. They are always there if I need to know anything and always listen to my concerns or worries. They always supply me with feedback to help me with my progression and learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My provider gives me 100% support. They are a positive influence and are always there with kind words of support. Nothing is too much for them and are always happy to go that extra mile to give you the support when you need it. I can't think [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] enough for all her hard work and dedication. She clearly enjoys her job and this reflects off on to her learners. Nothing is too much for her she always has a smile and friendly warm around her.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel this will help me massively as it has given me a bigger insight to what else I can learn and what other venues or opportunities there available. Its given me a better understanding ding of the responsibility and behaviours which can occur. I have started to get a better understanding of things i regularly hear but dont really make such sense to me.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I am involved in gosh, where I come up with ideas to fundrwise for this. I also look at pi wows so what can we do to make the guest stay extra special. Giving out small packs for kids such as colouring in sets or mini puzzles to keep them entertained during check in and dinner service.
