Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work as an IT helpdesk support role i do common password resets and also arrange the setup for new coming users with the accounts and laptop setup. there are call we receive with IT requests with issues occurring or systems down which then im to log this issue and give it to the appropriate team
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
this program has been a struggle with communication between teachers for more information on what is expected of me and there has been times I've had to request documents that i was meant to be given earlier but with that out the way the lessons are well structured and easy for me to understand by the end and the teachers during the lesson are very informative when questions are raised

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
i have learnt plenty of skills to help me in my troubleshooting on the helpdesk most skills revolve around common tools such as Command prompt, excel, event viewer and Active directory with these i have leant how to setup accounts and setup grope policies to add to the system.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
some parts can be complicated with names of assignments changing a lot so the work gets mixed around and the use of too many different 3rd party sites to progress through the course but the sites them Selfs are helpful to track progress and help me see where I'm at with my learning and help me manage my workload
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] there has been ample amount of support to put me in the work positions to meet my criteria set and have even gone as far as to buy me equipment to assist with tasks and my personal line manmager has scheduled in regular meetings with me to ensure my progress is being made
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
unfortunately, little to non as we don't get to communicate much as their emails are very inconsistent and our meetings are only scheduled once a month and with them, they seem to be only to answer some pre-set questions same every time and then that tends to be it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It has helped me plenty as it has made my troubleshooting abilities much stronger and helped my understanding of the programs and processes within my business to allow me to get to the root of any problem much faster.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
there have been some times where I've been involved with meetings with providers to help me implement a new process within the job role there meeting commonly give me a deeper InSite into programs we have and help me make my own alterations to make the IT departments run more efficently
