My job involves producing and learning the different ways we make each magnet and to help contribute to the efficiency and production on the factory floor, by helping I do my own jobs just like everyone else who works on the shop floor, In every way I can possibly help
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy the programme because I can gain the ability to access good work experience, learn how we make the magnets, create good friends and make an impression for the future. The processes can be a bit repetitive but that is no issue as the magnets are for saving people.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt more skills and developed my previous skills, I have not only learned the technical side of the process but I have also learnt the layers of the production line, and how the magnets are built to cope with very high need of magnetic fields and other electrical guidelines.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well organised on the siemens side of things, the college side was good but slightly difficult to navigate with tutors and other paths of the college, the siemens side has a well structured and relatively good guidance system. It is also a decent aspect towards shift plans.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I do receive support and that support can help me in ways, there isn't the most amount of support or programmes linked towards nuerodivergancies or understanding on ADHD and such, but support linked to work and the day ahead is always available and is effective when needed for sure
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is very supportive towards my qualifications, at the moment I am writing three reports and referencing those reports to the criterias given, my college training provider does also understand all aspects of what I need to do to complete my qualifications and understand what I am doing.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification through my training provider does help me through to my practical work to perform better in my role, this is because it helps me by writing it down and taking pictures which helps me with memory and other aspects of the job, the job is now in my mind
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are not any extra curricular activities involved with work apart from a gym on site that you can pay for monthly, the extra curricular activites might come after COVID is fully fully gone but for now I am not aware of any other extracurricular activities that I can take a part in

Yes
Why?
Because it is a good place to work with good potential to move up the positions, it also is for a good cause and has friendly employees and staff, I enjoy working on hand with the other workers and enjoy making new friends with new people I meet every day
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens Healthineers?
