Supporting young people in their home who are struggling with mental health disorders and supporting them to stay out of a tier 4 hospital placement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it very much, it helps me relearn parts I already knew and further my career to becoming a mental health nurse

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. Learnt new skills around supporting those with eating disorders and developed on my skills from adult mental health to support young people

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured, I know what I need to do and when it needs to be done. I was aware of when classes were on
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very good support - they allow me to have one day off from my normal duties a week for a study day, this allows me to have a good work/life/schooling balance
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A good support - I know my tutor is on hand if I need her either my email or text
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allows me to revisit knowledge and work to being more person-centred within my role.

There are professional network events and also a fitness class over teams
