really love being back in a learning space. the ability to discover new ideas with folk from different backgrounds and be able to bring that learning back into the workplace

Very structured, good organisation of modules and building of knowledge. Alignment with CMI makes the journey clearer

a lot of support from the apprenticeships lead, my direct manager and senior managers across the organisation. plenty of time to do my off the job training
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

seminars are oriented to both wider learning and specific learning to succeed in assignments, most lecturers offer additional support and the apprentice support team are excellent
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

bringing the wider learning into the workplace has allowed me to view things from a different perspective and think more strategically. have also built relationships with other organisations that are already adding benefit

lots of networks to get involved in e.g Pride, women etc, local social events within and across teams, encouraged to join professional organisations to improve networking and knowledge

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Thames Water?
Research the website but dont be worried about not having water industry experience, focus instead on what transferable skills you have, enthusiasm, ability to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in and being honest and kind will get you a long way
