Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a systems engineer: gathering evidence against requirements, liaising with team leads to keep track of timelines, writing documents as proving evidence against requirements.
As a mechanical engineer: Experimental rig design in CAD, 3D printing of components, algorithm validation and analysis in MATLAB, controller design in LabVIEW.

Yes, the work I did directly contributed to and was an important part of live projects and ongoing research.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
The role I was initially placed in wasn’t for me, but I was able to find a new role for the second half of my placement that I enjoyed far more and I was happy in.
