Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Responding to telematics queries & concerns from customers. Creating tools for the team to use.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy what I do but would appreciate more opportunities to explore the wider company outside my team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Learnt a lot about telematics. Developed my existing skills in software and programming.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
University side is mostly well structured, just suffers from a lack of communication sometimes. The work side isn't particularly well structured with apprentices put in a department .Needs more structure to our working days to promote more experiences and learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
1/5
My manager & team are supportive but I receive practically no support from the early careers team without having to reach out and keep pushing for a response. Early careers need to be more proactive in providing support and experiences to their apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Warwick are mostly ok at providing support but it very much depends on your current lecturer as some are better at helping than others. Overall they suffer a lack of communication which can leave apprentices feeling unsure.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel it does help me as I can apply most of what I learn at my job. There are some modules that don't feel very relevant such as business management but this isn't up to the university.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are networking events and other activities available through Yammer I believe.
