Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My daily tasks involve filtering data from spreadsheets into templates, occasionally processing NAFs (Negotiation approval forms), running the RMA (raw material acquisition) report once a week, being included in the etracker approval train which covers parts written on/off.
As a whole very computer-based, tasks are not too challenging, they can just take a while sometimes.
Once a week I have a study day which is either spent in Birmingham at BPP or self study at home following the BPP curriculum.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I do really enjoy the programme, I feel well supported and it is very flexible in terms of exams and study vs work tasks

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have massively improved my excel skills, presentation ability as well as more general corporate skills eg. email writing and touch typing

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
There is a clear timeline that will be followed throughout the course, as for the CIMA side there are clear pillars and levels that must be completed before moving up to the next level. Structure includes fairly frequent reviews.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Any concerns are addressed within good time, there is always someone to ask due to a diverse network of colleagues. Regular checks from an internal BPP representative to ask about study. Weekly one-to-ones with my manager
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
support through flexible study days, if work is quieter then I am able to work on BPP
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I notice some topics covered through BPP in my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes there are lots advertised on teams groups, For the apprenticeship in particular there is an early careers page which runs lots of events, regular once a week or one offs
