Learning and using CAD software to design parts of a vehicle or accommodate others designs into one bigger system or whole car
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

very enjoyable. a range of activities, jobs roles and experiences to be had which no other company or job could offer.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

CAD skills were non-existent before the apprenticeship, JLR have allowed my training and development. Understanding of basic engineering principles and skills have massively developed so far and will continue to do so.

great structure. well thought out approach to learning and development as a professional and young adult
How much support do you receive from your employer?

managers are great at providing support and making everyone feel like they can ask questions or for help. mentors are also provided to help managers throughout our apprentice journey
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

great support and offer lots of feedback through lectures, seminars and online resources
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

as of yet many engineering concepts have been needed throughout work however some aspects of training are also not needed for me specifically however i can appreciate how it will be relevant to others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes, there has been many from apprentice events to seeing students in 6th form and speaking about our job to sports events within the university and workplace
