Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We were split into groups and matched with a charity, who gave us a problem brief before the week started. Throughout the week, we had to work in team to come up with business solutions and deliverables that matched the charity brief. This included conducting market research, regular meetings with our charity partners, and mentoring form Capgemini.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

There were presentations on the business and roles available on the last day. Mentors were approachable and willing to go above and beyond to answer questions about life at Capgemini, and communication has been maintained since finishing the placement.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I developed my team working skills, in particular, managing a project online. I learnt a lot more about management and business consultancy and gained an insight into what a career with Capgemini might look like.
