Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Day-to-day I work as junior technical support, I complete tasks that are assigned to me and also look into any incidents that may be assigned to the team, as well as this I support senior colleagues in their role in service introduction and learn from them in the hopes of moving towards this.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
While I may not have originally wanted to study the role i'm in, I wouldn't change it for a thing now that I am in it and have more experience in the role

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I've learned many skills from my daily jobs and from university, most of them technical skills however my communication and ability to work in teams has also improved.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It is a very well organised programme, the way mine works is through day release, so I go to university on a monday and work with the company tuesday-friday.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
They have a lot of support throughout the experience, managers, colleagues and fellow apprentices are always willing to help and lend a listening ear if needed
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
If you feel as if you have too much on your plate you can talk to your manager and they can help you out, they also have lots of different training which can be related to your university course if you want extra studying material
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The role that I do is technical so everything I do in university relates to my role in some way sometimes I do something in my role which is new to me but then i'll end up doing it in university which can make it easier as I already understand it to some degree and sometimes it is the other way around
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are loads of things you can get involved in such as volunteering, sometimes there are social events, and my personal favourite is the EET committee were we have fun calls, discuss our interests and run our own events
