Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I currently manage 4 different teams across the business who are responsible for monitoring quality performance. My job is to ensure that we are performing as we should be and helping others to achieve greater performance by use of audits and coaching. We also conduct administrative tasks and assist with operations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am loving the content of the program. It is very easy for me to relate to my experiences which makes it more worth while. There is so much to learn but if you have a passion for what you do then this is no obstacle. There is always something new and the modules are just enough content.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt new skills around management and how to manage time more effectively. I have also learnt a great deal about communication and how much this impacts business in different ways. There is an abundance of knowledge that can be taken from the apprenticeship and a lot of refresher items too.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I think the programme is structured extremely well. There is ample time to review and work on content and the business also allows time for me to complete the work that I need to do. The course content is clear and the journey is trackable and very visible so you can plan effectively.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive any support that is required from my employer and we also have a work group which has been set up to help each other (for people studying the same course). I have regular catch ups with people around the business to discuss progress and any further requirements needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Similar to the business support, they are they whenever I need them. If they are unable to answer the phone then they reply to messages or email as soon as possible. They have great experience and provide further clarity on items that perhaps are not so clear to individuals. They also send out regular guidance communications.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel it helps immensely. There are so many different things to learn so there is always something you can take away to apply. It really helps to provide focus and clarity on situations and make you think outside the box or approach things differently. It has certainly helped me in many aspects.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are always loads of activities to do at work. We have a great social network using Yammer and MS Teams. We hold an annual raft race where people can team up and create a themed raft which they can use to race against other teams. We hold regular events and talks.
