Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Running and writing test scripts based off of user stories.
Ensuring software undergoes risk assessments and passes quality assurance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Pretty decently, the pay progression is good and I gain a lot of experience whilst having my degree paid for which is also nice I suppose.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Consultancy and IT skills including testing and aspects of software development.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Fairly structured, university has a clear layout and plan of modules and exams. The apprenticeship has 2 progression routes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Again a fair amount of support. there is a big network of senior people who you can contact.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
University can either be very helpful or not helpful at all and tell people they're failed a module when they haven't.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I learn a broad range of IT skills that can translate into work life.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Since covid there has been virtual teams and events you can attend. I personally haven't been to many as they are out of work hours.
