To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
The workload can vary depending on your clients renewal, however speaking up can help take of the workload by sharing out tasks.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
As part of the CII membership, there are free external training which helps understand the market from other perspective than an insurance broker.
Not relating to training, my role has grew my confidence in speaking to new people and in different forms. This is because we work over email, call, zoom and in person meetings.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
There are a number of support networks through the apprenticeship, these are the training provider and your own coach, the apprentice cohort and your own team.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
My team are extremely supportive with queries and will provide guidance to close of any issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
The CertCII qualification helps you understand your role in the insurance market and why you complete your role. In addition to this, you can see why we follow the process we do and gain a better understanding of rules and regulations/
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
In addition to this, there are a number of colleague resource groups to get involved in where they do networking events, bring inclusivity and diversity to the organisation.
