I look after the commercial side of a Clean Water construction sites, setting up work orders with subcontractors, paying subcontractors, monthly reporting costs to commercial teams, raising Early Warnings to Client, procuring and sending out enquires for work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme as it gives me an insight into construction in general, the different aspects to a construction site and how a project is completed on a day to day basis.

I have become more confident in the industry and in a professional sense, maths skills have strengthened

It is well structured and communication is very clear between tutor and class. Covid has effected the lessons with transition to online learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employer is always very supportive and gives us time as and when we need it to complete work outside of college hours if needed.

The tutors are all very friendly and helpful with assignments and always have the correct answers and information should we need it.

It has helped me understand how things are done on site and also what i need to consider when doing my own job.

Yes we have a dedicated sports and social group that sets up activities such as sports, social events on a monthly basis.

It is a very friendly company that has a range of roles and careers suitable for anyone. There is a professional environment however it is a fun and exciting place to work.

Be yourself, work hard, ask questions and don't be afraid to make a mistakes as that is how you learn.
