Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Assist the Site Engineer with carrying out the required quality assurance and completing ITR's (Inspection and test records) in line with company procedures.
- Assist the Site Manager & Site Engineer with supervising safety, health & environment on site in line with company standards and procedures.
- Assist the Site Manager & Site Engineer with day-to-day running of the site including requisition of materials and plant and processing of delivery tickets
- Liaise with designers, support teams and supply chains

yes, but not more than I could take. There was always people available and willing to help.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was very welcoming, supportive and collaborative. From the beginning of my placement, team members were approachable and willing to answer questions, provide guidance and share their knowledge.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoy my placement and find it to be a highly rewarding experience. The variety of work allowed me to develop both my technical knowledge and professional skills while gaining exposure to real engineering projects.
