I am I charge of a lot at my store which makes me really feel good inside and proud. It’s never boring there are always new things to learn and do, I feel like I have progressed so much from doing plans, to changing the makeup stands to being in charge of my stores social media.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love being at work so much I really do. I even feel lost when I’m on my days off I have such a lovely team and we all work so well together everyone is so friendly it feels like my little retail family, and I love my program so much i have learnt so much and found a real interest for retail.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I feel like I have learnt so much and really know so much about how a store has to be run etc. I have also really developed my social skills and I feel like I have came a really long way with that, I have alot more confidence now and I never thought I would of found that

How well organised/structured is your programme?

So well I coudlnt fault nothing I feel like I can always ask for help whenever I need it and everything is really clear on what I need to do. I always have time to do my work and even if I need extra time that’s always available to me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager is so lovely, she helps and supports me so much I feel like I can always go to her no matter what, no matter how stupid I feel like it is she will always listen. She really encourages me and pushes me to my absolute best and I feel like I woudlnt be doing as well as I am without her support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel like I can always talk to my training provider she is so paitent if I ever need help with anything she’s always there for me. It really does benefit when you have such good support around you it really does push you to do the best you can.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like it has helped me so much for example with my strike rates especially I used to struggle with them and through my apprentice courses it has helped me learn so much to improve. It really does help you a lot I coudlnt fault any of the training at all. Feel like I have learn more in the past 6 months than I have in the past 2 years

Why?
Because I feel so happy at Superdrug it’s helped me and shown me so much it’s educated me more than I ever thought it would I feel like I’ve found another family. There’s so many amazing opportunities at Superdrug and it’s just such a good company to work for.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Superdrug?
You will love working at Superdrug!! Stay paitent and keep applying I really recommend this place for apprenticeships I have so many amazing opportunities to go onto after I finish this apprenticeship they really have helped me and shaped me into a better person . Working in retail may seem daunting but Superdrug is amazing.
