Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My current role is sales supervisor at Travis Perkins. So i look after the counter sales as well as sales over the phone. It is a very customer based role and i enjoy making and receiving calls as well as the face to face service over the counter every day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed the apprenticeship and enjoyed working with different people from different backgrounds as well as having a coach that was always there to support me wherever and whenever needed. I enjoyed learning a lot of new things and learning about other peoples opinions on the topics on each webinar that we had every month.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a lot through out the apprenticeship. There was 10 different modules which had a lot of different topics within them and i was able to gain a lot of knowledge as well as learn more about some things that i already knew and had some idea about.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well structured and laid out. Once you get the hang of using everything on google and learn how the reflective diary works its really easy to use. It is all very self explanatory and i hadn't used much with google beforehand but once i had played around and got the hang of things it was really quick and easy to use.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received a lot of help and support right from the beginning of the programme. Its really handy having your coaches phone number and email address so that you can send a quick message or give a call when you need something. Any questions i had or any help i needed my coach was always there to support me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Everyone helps a lot with the programme where they can. To start of with the first few months its always likely that you're going to have more questions as you're getting use to the systems and learning how the apprenticeship works. My training provider, like my coach, was always there to help and support me when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The apprenticeship has really help me grow as a person over the past 15 months. I feel as though i have gained a lot of knowledge and confidence within my role and it has really changed my mindset on things, especially in certain situations where you have to think and act differently when a problem occurs.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There is usually always something going on with fundraising for charity throughout the year. I was able to take part in an 8 mile walk and i raised £800 for Macmillan cancer support. There is also many training days that happen quite often and online training that you can access through my perks.
