Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

A LOT! My ideas were encouraged everyday and I was amazed by how much responsibility I was given. No photocopying or doing jobs no one else wanted to do! I was given REAL projects to work on, involving REAL people.

I had regular check-ins with my manager (even when working from home). I also had individual coaching sessions every three months which were invaluable to me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Gymsharks culture is like no other! Gymshark wants the best for its people and they genuinely care for your wellbeing at work and outside work. I enjoyed flexible working hours and going to their own gym before and after work.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I LOVED my internship and after my final year of university I was keen to go back. I grew both personally and professionally throughout the year and was blessed with so many amazing opportunities.
