Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Monitoring the costs of our supply chain and reporting back to the business on any issues or inefficiencies. Building models and budgets to ensure that our partners are operating as we would expect and trying to find savings throughout the company.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was left to manage calls with suppliers and was trusted to look after entire cost centres.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

We had regular skills session as a placement cohort and were regularly checked in by the people team. They made it very clear that their door was always open.
