Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My Job role first starts by opening up the branch in the morning to arrange transport and deliveries for the day and uploading this onto the open-fleet system. I then carry out all the safety checks and delegate tasks to my team and then monitor and keep measurements to keep the whole operation running smooth.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed the learning and reflective diary on each module. This I felt was such a great way to extend my knowledge and better myself. It has given me a lot more confidence in both my working and personal life. Having a designated coach for me is really great as this person really adds value and direction.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have learnt lots of new skills such as, I am a lot more self-aware of how I may come across to each and every person I engage within the working day. With my empathy, I have learned to really understand things better from a different angle and this has given me a much more fresh approach.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised from day one. The structure was great having a meeting call and running through each module before you would actually start it. Having the recorded slide show was a great reference I personally always went back to if I struggled with anything. In a nutshell, I would give this a strong 9/10.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Massive amounts of support from my employer, my coach and my manager. The great thing I found is that I only needed to ask and the support was great.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Massive amounts of support from my training provider as for me, one of the biggest tasks I had was to gain my Maths and English level 2 standards. The provider had such a great tool online which really got me back to learning. I really enjoyed this way of learning and would recommend this to anyone who wants to challenge themselves.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
100% I feel that learning and reflecting on your Job role is the best way to Improve your new and existing skills. The academics of learning has given me the knowledge and understanding of how I can be so much more effective and just a better person when dealing with any problems I may occur. Just from last year I hit record numbers in both sales and profit and have added to extra new employees. I have a much greater understanding of myself and job role since completing the qualification.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, charity events, one of my colleagues has just done a white collard boxing fight. To be fair, I am very busy in my own activities outside of work from wrestling, boxing; walking and going to the gym. My son plays both rugby and football, so you can imagine I have very little time after this.
