Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Starting the day with daily stand up meetings, we would review incoming tickets, and sort them by priority before assigning them.
I worked with another intern on one project the whole internship, which involved upgrading a library used in lots of company software.

Yes, we were given a large degree of autonomy to complete our project, which had a real world impact as it was used in a key product.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I strongly developed my C++ skills.
I learnt how to work in an agile way with a team.
I learnt how to use tools like Jira, Jenkins, Github, and Visual Studio in order to collaborate effectively and streamline the development process.

We had daily check ups with our scrum team, and regular meetings with supervisors, who were rotated on a fortnightly basis.
