My role on a day to day basis includes the processing of customer orders placed through Techdata, Quotations requested by Customers, Training new starters within the company and supporting the team i work with to make sure they are confident and comfortable in the role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt some new skills whilst part of the apprenticeship programme, mainly using leadership styles and different forms of communication to achieve the best outcomes. I have also built my first personal plan to set myself targets, something I have never thought about before.

The programme is structured well for workshops, with dates provided in advance for pre-planning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I was given good support during my qualifications, with my performance coach being on hand to answer any questions I may have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped me to become more confident in my own ability, and recognize my key strengths as well as working on my areas that may need improvement.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is a social club you can opt to join, however this has been out of action since Covid struck.
