Developing new features for a web application, fixing bugs, manual and automated testing. Collaborating with web designers, product owners and business analysts to problem solve clients needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Working with a varied amount of people and collaborating with different teams to think out ideas and problem solve.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Computer programming in various different languages, developed better communication skills as i need to explain what i am doing to tech and non-technical people. User experience design.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I lost track of my timeline and deadlines quite often, i think better support to keep me on track with regular check-ins would have helped.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

As a whole team, i felt very supported to achieve my goals. I think i could've had more one-to-ones with seniors to help me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

During the catchup sessions with Makers, the coach was always very helpful, but these sessions were not very regular.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I learnt a lot my doing the qualification as there were some subjects i thought i had no interest in learning that i had to do, but actually found them very enjoyable and i'm now able to do these in my current role and become a fullstack developer.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a friday game session, weekly office day and after work social and monthly events.

Be yourself, not always having the experience is necessary as long as you show you have passion to learn, grow and challenge.
