Overview of my role is essentially to ensure that all customers are looked after and dealt with correctly, while also gaining the product knowledge and the skills needed to complete my job role through my apprenticeship, there are many parts , such as paperwork, people skills and running of the branch
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I can say I have extremely enjoyed my programme within the company as I belive it has allowed me to gain incredible amounts of knowledge and allowed me to gain people skills as well as building up relationships with not only customers, but colleagues too

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills while completing my apprenticship, these have included active listening skills, customer service based skills and many more such as insane amounts of product knowledge and time managment skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was structured well and was easy enough to follow and get to grips with, the support that was given along side it made it all the more structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I was given a decent amount of support from my employer , although they were extremely busy and struggled to make time to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Incrediable amounts of support has been given by my training provider always catuhing up with me and ensuring i am on the right track and on target and will help me overcome aspects that I may find difficult
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Having the qualification allows you this amount of confidence to know that you are qualified to carry out your daily job role while also learning new skills within your working branch life.

Such a lovely supporting company to work for, always ensuring the best for you and making sure that you are well provided for, the teams are lovely and no task is to big or too small to ask for help .
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Travis Perkins plc?
If you are going for a full career change this I would 100% recommend as it gives you that froim strach new start and everyone is soo happy to teach you to ensure you are the best you can be .
