Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Responsible for the day to day managing of two Hotels. I have 2 direct reports with 30 indirect. I ensure that we are fully compliant with H&S and financial law whilst ensuring the best guest experience. I run a lead role with in the region and well as deputize for the regional operations manager.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the program, I would prefer more face-to-face interaction rather than online but other than that it has been very flexible and supportive.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have gained an NVQ level 3 as well as many internal courses over my career with Whitbread. I have attended several external development programs also.
