Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I complete various queries in order to submit data to the relevant submission points and collect data to monitor savings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have enjoyed working on the work that I have been provided with. I enjoy working with the team that I am in and I have learnt a lot more about working in a team environment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed a lot of new skills, particularly with more experience with excel and I have been able to learn how to use SQL in my day to day work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I would say that my programme could have been structured better to suit the work that I had been learning about at college in order to let me have more experience with the systems.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer and they are very willing to help alter my workload to suit the work that I have to complete eg exams or working on my project.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
I have had very little support from my provider. I have taught myself the vast majority of the work and I find it very difficult to gain help from the provider when I have had any issues or questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am able to complete more complex requests within my work and suggest new ideas for improvements
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a few activities that take place for the entire hospital, and there are also many courses that we are encouraged to take if we feel they are relevant to us.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I have found that it is a very enjoyable place to work and I have been able to learn new skills that I would be able to apply to any job that I could apply for in the future.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
Ensure that you have done as much research into the topics of study as possible to give yourself a head start into what kinds of work you will be completing on a daily basis.
