Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day work consists of involvement within projects, where investigation, research, designing, costing and problem solving is done. These projects tend to have a process reason, therefore electrically we need to solve issues and add solutions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Thoroughly, Thames water changed the direction of my career drastically for the best. Allowing myself to exposed to invaluable knowledge and experience.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was well organised apart from a small delay with the Uni at first, but due to myself being on the first cohort, this was expected. However, the content and programme is sufficiently layout with targets.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Monumental support is accessible in any area of Thames Water, not just the Engineering team I was involved in. Everyone loves to help and get involved where needs be.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Newbury Uni centre provide good, relevant content to show us foundations of Electrical content and project management.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Year 2 HNC allowed me to improve my project management skills within Thames Water. As I was able to formally make impactful decisions and steps.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
