Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Managing a team of support workers that work in the community with the elderly population. Coordinating new referrals and ongoing plans for each patient, liaising with other services and keeping within budgets, managing service development.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed it to an extent - it was helpful and thought it would help me land future roles especially in management, however I didn't get to finish the apprenticeship as another more relevant opportunity came up for me and I wasn't allowed to do the two together

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt about management and leadership - whereas prior to the apprenticeship I didn't know about the theory behind all of this.
