I lead a careers academy for health and care across Nottingham including work experience, attraction, careers advice and guidance and widening participation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy having dedicated time to learn and develop my skills and knowledge. I enjoy learning new things, ideas and theories that I can utilise I my role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my leadership skills and knowledge in including practical skills in business case writing and strengthening collaborative working.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It has been structured very well given the pandemic situation. Despite several pauses in learning things are going well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive dedicated time to carry out my studies and also peer support through a mentor.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is plenty of support available on and off campus. Through great lecturers and online study aids I feel very well supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me strong foundations to carry out my role in a better informed way. It has also enlightened me in a number of theories and insights.

As an organisation, it has transformed over the last 6 years from rock bottom to outstanding.
