My role is to make sure that the children are looked after and to make sure that they have a variety of activities that will help them to grow and to develop. I also help to change nappies and to help with potty training and help with snack and mealtimes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my apprenticeship as I have always wanted to work with children and this apprenticeship will help me as after I have completed my level 2 apprenticeship in early years I hope to then progress onto my level 3 apprenticeship programme. I really enjoy doing different things every day.

I have also learnt how to set up activities for the children.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is very organized and well structured and I love learning about different things on my course, such as: health and well-being, the prevent duty and safeguarding as this will help me to further my knowledge on these topics and other topics in the future. It will also help me to spot it a child may be at risk of being abused.

My qualification helps me to perform better in my role as I now know how to spot certain things, such as: if a child is being abused and the signs and symptoms of various abuses, such as physical emotional psychological etc. it also helps me to further my knowledge on topics.
