includes helping children, setting up or cleaning away after them like during or after lunch, tea and snack. helping them with activities, reading stories with them and helping them interact more and be more independent
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy it very much, the apprenticeship has made me gain much more confidence and increased my knowledge in childcare a lot

i have learnt many new skills in childcare that i had never known of before that have helped me in my journey in childcare so far
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

it’s very structured, with planning and a timetable we follow, sometimes there are a few mishaps where an activity may have finished early so they find something else to do for a few minutes but they find new things very fast and it doesn’t cause any issues
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i have been told numerous times that i am more than welcome, if not encouraged, to ask for help if i ever need it. with anything. wether is questions about my apprenticeship or about the nursery itself, everyone is very supportive of me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

very important as i learn new things and have to learn new things constantly for my course and record them down explaining what i learnt and how it affects me
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are some in the summer like the summer ball but i don’t have much knowledge on extra curricular activities yet

very easy and simple process to go through and they help you a lot with what to expect from them and interviews etc

to just be yourself and it would all work out, its very simple and you don’t need any special tips or tricks
