I am responsible for a team of administrative support staff and set their objectives. I provide regular one to ones, appraisals and set direction of tasks.
I am responsible for a number of systems including data analysis, performance management of the systems in order for the organisation to support efficient and productive working practices. These support the workforce and provide evidence to external stakeholders.

I enjoy my relationship from the tutor who provides one to one support and guidance. We discuss new ideas and new ways of working which also helps to support my assignments.
He has provided helpful advice regarding how to utilise videos in presentations which impacts on the success of delivering these to external stakeholders.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt to understand the the importance of the Trust's strategies and how the production of my work fits into these strategies such as the People Strategy. Assignments have led to being more focused on research in order to provide reports with a number of differing options. This includes e.g. Kickstart.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I find the tutor has provided useful advise around the structure of the programme but sometimes I am confused as to why we do not use the Apprenticeship Standard to guide the learning and assignments.
This is also reported by peers when we have group discussions where we share ideas.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am exceptionally lucky that my line manager supports and helps guide me when I ask for advice or help when I am struggling or just feel a little lost in the assignment description.
We discuss the bigger picture in relation to opportunities I have been given in order to achieve the work experience. This then helps produce the final document.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive one to one support and guidance from my training provider. I am guided in how to think about the uses of models and theories that have been taught as part of the module and the overall programme.
He is also very good at providing pastoral care and signposting.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualification so far has made me think differently and more strategically when producing my work. Having gained 98% in self reflection I feel that I have set myself to a gold start and this provides me with the motivation to continue to achieve this regularly.
My performance has improved in technologies.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
With Covid-19 there has obviously been restrictions as well as lock down so this has been very difficult. There are number of resources available with being an NHS organisation to help internally and externally.
We have also done a virtual escape room with all proceeds being given to local charities.
