Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

EMAS have been supporting and ensure I go 90% my hours with my PED. The university has been shown to struggle with organisation of the cohort and the content been taught, due to high capacity of students and staff sickness.

Yes both work and university however I haven’t participated in anything due to work , uni and family commitments

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to East Midlands Ambulance Service?
1 gain some prior experience dealing with patients
2 understand the the various roles with EMAS
3 attempt to do an observation day with a AE ambulance
4 be aware this job is very unsocialable
