Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a bus driver, I drive designated routes throughout Barrow-in-Furness. I also issue tickets to passengers and handle money.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoy the actual driving side of being a bus driver. The apprenticeship side has been more enjoyable than I expected.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed customer service skills further, as well as my driving skills as I had previously no experience in driving large vehicles outside of simulation videogames.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Regular monthly one-to-one sessions with my TDO, though there was an issue with Functional Skills sessions, but I need not worry about them as it is finally noted down that I am exempt from them.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am still being payed while having my apprenticeship days off the roster. Stagecoach also offer an open-door policy to their employees for any issues they might have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My TDO is always willing to answer any questions I might have and work with me to make sure I understand what I need to write/submit.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot of the material is parroted from what Stagecoach teach me, but there is extra stuff that can help advance that.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Currently, there are none that I know about. However, I might like to see if I could potentially start one or two that I am interested in doing.

Yes
Why?
A good training provider with friendly and understanding TDOs, particularly Angela Jones, who has been my personal TDO throughout my time with Realise.
