Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Insurance PI broker. Relationship development with the client and the market, finding the best deal for the client. Preparing MRc's and MRCE's, putting them on PPL for market agreement.

The programme is very enjoyable. Having a job but also working towrads a goal can be quote difficult but you have so many people around you, helping and guiding you, so you never feel alone and it makes the experience enjoyable and memerable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my time managemtn skills, being organised and prioritising what needs to be done. I have also developed my communication skills, being more confident. I have learnt some IT skills which has helped me develop in my job role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme is well organsied and structured. Throughout the induction we had support from the group leader daily, with lots of induction training to make us feel comfortable. The training helped us get to grips with what to expect in the job later on. Not much support with the studying.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Support from my manager is regular. We have a 1 to 1 cathc up every week to speak about progress, study, achievements etc. My manager will get me involved in as much possible to help oush myself and get to know more about the job. M y mentor is also always there helping me in every way possible and guiding me through the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
When working towards out qualifications, we get suppport from the provider a few times. It is mainly independent study and work so it was down to me how much time I revised until I felt comfortable to take the exam. We got support from the provider by givingus a structured timetable whihc we should follow to help get the exams done in track with the apprenticeship. Then we recieved a study day for each exam which helped massively.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualifications help in my day to day job as it teaches you the basis of insurance helping you pick up the terms of insurance. It helped me feel more comfortable in what I do giving me a head start. I have also put in some of my knowledge from the books into my job role which has shown to be noticed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We have company social events every third of the year. This gets the division together, make new friends and socialise. There are sports clubs such as netball which people get involved in to get to know eachother on another level. The apprenticeship programme are still to organise something for us apprentices to get together.
