My role is to help support clients with renewals and cliams throughout the year. I shadow alot of people so I can learn my role and act more independently.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Marsh makes sure everyone understands the importane of the role in the wider context. This results in higher satisfaction from completeing tasks in my experience.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

These past view months we have been taught; communication, team work and self-care. Marsh encourages and supports the development of more analytical/critical thinking.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Some confusion around the Cooridenation with Marsh and the apprenticeship provider but that resolved itself in its own time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Such a good culture of supporting eachother here, there are countless people who support me. Including an assigned buddy, managers and people in my dept in general.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The course is more self taught, however, I do have monthly calls with my coach and before each exam they arrange a training day.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

They are good for clearing up quieres and questions that arise from self teaching and are knowledgable about the insurance industry.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are lots of colleague support groups that organise such events. There are groups for; young professionals, womens equality, LGBT+, Race/ethnic minorities, disabled people and more. Allies of these groups can join as well, there is no criteria to join any.
