Design Technical Undergraduate Review

I have done 3 different roles during my year however my primary role is Project leading. As a project lead, I am responsible for overseeing a project from request to completion. This requires the managing of facility discussions, the production of quotes and gantts chart during planning and assisting review set ups and sign offs.

I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement and has worked as a integral part of the team. This has allowed me to develop faster and better.

I have developed many soft and hard skills. This include;

- Time Management skills
- Organisation skills
- VBA Coding
- Powerapps Coding
- Tableau
- Catia V5

My supervisors were exceptionally supportive and helped me gain placements in all the teams I wanted to. They also supported me during personal issues and allowed me to work flexibly at home to help this.

JLR has a very supportive environment and everyone is always willing to help. There are lots of different commitees and groups you can join such as Gender Equality Networks and The Shine Network which supports and celebrates diversity and inclusion.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement as I have had a lot of responsibility and have developed so many different skills. I worked with lots of different teams and people and have engaged with higher management.
