Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Mechanical and electrical apprentice, rectifying faults in equipment and completing maintenance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Very much so. I feel fulfilled and gain a good amount of job satisfaction

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Welding, abrasive wheels, electrical skills, mechanical knowledge of machinery

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
Quite poorly, I feel as though I am left to my own devices and have to fight to appease the assessors. Rather than them helping me with me training.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support from my manager and my mentor. I can’t credit them enough. I feel as if they both want the best for me and do everything in their abilities to do that.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
Very very little. Have one review every 6 weeks, in which he is often late and disorganised. I feel as if they’re making it up as they go along and have no consistency with their marking
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
It does not. My performance in my role is not affected in the slightest by the work I do with activate
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
No, but I have made good friends with many of my colleagues
