I love it. It is flexible and rewarding yet is still challenging. I love that I can complete my degree as I work and apply what I am learning to my everyday job

5/5
Yes. I have learnt many practical and clinical skills, as well as an in-depth knowledge about clinical research

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Pretty well. Was some poor communication from the uni at the start but they have improved in the meantime. My work are very good at assigning me the right amount of work

5/5
A lot, they are very approachable and understanding

I have the contact details to get in touch with someone if I need help, but am left to get in with it by myself
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It does help. Not all modules are relevant but most
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I try and network, which is difficult during Covid. Perhaps once restrictions lift, this will be possible.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Brilliant team, approachable management, fair pay and working hours
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
You have to make the effort to get to know and build a relationship with people, they won’t all try with you.
If you put in the work they will reward you. It goes both ways!
