Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a training apprentice deputy and fully trained store assistant. I do everything from work the deliveries (ambient, fresh, short life, long life) to a few deputy duties such as checking the dates, scanning off waste and doing the availability to name a few.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy coming into work, for me it is much better than college as i learn a lot more and feel like i’m working towards something a lot more tangible.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes i have developed a very good string work ethic especially for my age and have become more confident in working on my own and trusting my own initiative.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It’s well organised and has a good structure but if i were to suggest any area for improvement i would say more communication between the apprenticeship provider and the business.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot of support as the build the foundation and trust that any issues you go to them with will have the best solution/response with no judgment or anything negative. All feedback is constructive too.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A lot of support especially in the sense that i can ask any question from the structure of the scheme to extra support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It gives/allows more confidence aswell as retains up to date retail knowledge along side my ELP’s and policies i have been through during work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes however due to lockdowns and the current state of the UK they are fairly limited but there are still things to get involved in.
