A good amount of responsibility was given during the internship. Helped out with BAU tasks and various individual projects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
MUFG has a flat structure which makes it easier to reach other to different people regardless of position. Employee networks focusing on some key issues and prompted cultivating and thought-provoking conversations. Everyone I encountered was kind and helpful, willing to provide support in any way.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at MUFG. I have been able to develop personally and professionally whilst gaining a great understanding of the business and the markets it works in. Able to work on important and valuable pieces of work. Team atmosphere was extremely enjoyable regardless of the COVID-19 circumstances.
