The great thing about doing an apprenticeship at the BBC is that you are set into a rotation of different placements throughout your time here. This allows you to join different teams and broadens your original understanding of your job role.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the fact that I’m able to be apart of some amazing projects and teams. The culture here is so friendly and supportive.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes! My communication skills have improved massively during my apprenticeship. I feel more confident to start conversations with people I’ve never met before.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme structure is set in a way which helps apprentices understand the way the BBC works. By going into different teams, you understand the structure of the BBC and why each team is valid.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employers have been very supportive from the start. They understand if I need time off to work on my assignments and are always checking up on me to see how I’m doing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is amazing. The resources that they offer really helps me with class work and assignments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The course is relevant to what I’m doing at work. This is really helpful as I can use that knowledge at work and help make a relevant impact to my team.
