Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role within NatWest involves me supporting team members, creating and updating process guides, completing daily reports for the business, complaints, payments as well as fraud. Not only that but I also have the opportunity to train other people within the business on how to complete different tasks that they didnt know how to do previously overall.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The programme itself was okay, however there were many issues I had with the Apprenticeship provider BPP, they were very unorganised and once didnt attend a learning webinar until an hour later in the day. Not only that but a lot of the staff didn't seem to understand what they were teaching overall.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned many new skills while working at NatWest. These skills are mainly to do with communication. This is because I was given the opportunity to present to a high number of people that I had never done previously by learning this new skill I am to further develop it in the future.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The programme itself was okay, however there were many issues I had with the Apprenticeship provider BPP, they were very unorganised and once didnt attend a learning webinar until an hour later in the day. Not only that but a lot of the staff didn't seem to understand what they were teaching overall. This had a massive impact on my opinion on the structure and organisation of the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I received an amazing amount of support from my employer including my line manager as well as my colleagues within the work place. This is because of the guidance they gave me if I had a problem as well as their positive attitude in supporting me no matter the issue.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The support itself was okay, however there were many issues I had with the Apprenticeship provider BPP, they were very unorganised and once didnt attend a learning webinar until an hour later in the day. Not only that but a lot of the staff didn't seem to understand what they were teaching overall. This had a massive impact on my opinion on the support they provided. However my learning coach was very supportive and was helpful which made me enjoy the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualifications that I have achieved have helped me with my role at NatWest as it has given me the experience to deal with certain situations and tasks in the workplace such as project management as an example. This is because I had never managed a project for an organisation before and now that I have I can potentially do it again later in the future and further develop my skill set.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes we do social events over zoom as well as have meet ups outside of work for anyone to attend overall. We do not however have any sports teams etc. The social activities vary from quizzes to meeting in a restaurant etc. These are the extra curricular activities that the business offers its staff.
